Popular Hearts of Oak supporter Hudu Yahaya has died less than 24 hours after collapsing during a crunch football match with arch-rivals, Kotoko last Monday.
Yahaya, nicknamed, Alhaji Car, founder of the Nima Alaska Chapter 3 club, was pronounced dead at the Ridge Hospital on Tuesday.
He was rushed to the Hospital after he collapsed during Hearts 1-0 home defeat to Kotoko at the Accra Sports stadium.
“Yes it is true that one of our members by name Alhaji Car owner has been pronounced dead this morning at the Ridge Hospital in Accra”, former management member Aziz Futah confirmed
“He collapsed during the game and was rushed to the hospital where he died."
The deceased will be buried on Tuesday afternoon in line with Islamic tradition.
