The Eastern Regional Chairman of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) of TUC, James Kwasi Cudjoe, has advised drivers' unions to be innovative to win more passengers to their side.
Mr Cudjoe made the call when he sworn-in the Executives of the Begoro Branch 2 of the union at the weekend at Begoro.
He said because of the right of the citizens to freedom of associations, many new drivers unions had been springing up and such development brings along keen competition in the system.
The Branch Chairman, Saddique Opoku urged the members to pay their taxes and other levies regularly to enable the union to establish a viable welfare for them.Source: GNA
