Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu is impressed with the quality of the 17 week old Ghana Premier League.
The former Asante Kotoko boss who has been tasked with monitoring the league is elated with the quality on display so far.
The last Black Stars team saw defender Kadri Mohammed of Ashantigold called up alongside Samuel Tetteh (who was with WAFA at that time), Richard Ofori and Fatau Dauda.
For Konadu, it is all because the quality is high
“I saw the match between Bechem United and Aduana Stars and the standard was very good. We were all impressed with what we saw.
The league is very good and we are happy with the standard.”
“We have to make sure that we have more pitches. When we do that, the players will perform better than they are doing now.”
Ghana’s next assignment will be a Nations Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Ghana with the Black Stars already qualified.
