Dreams striker Eric Gawu reminded spectators at the Karl Reindorf Park of the popular saying; “Form is temporary but class is permanent” after a dominant display to help Dreams beat Liberty 1-0.
The striker broke the deadlock with a magnificent individual goal coasting past a couple of players before slotting the ball.
The goal was reminiscent of his days at King Faisal were he terrorized defenders week in week out and for his coach, CK Akonnour, it was testament of the players discipline.
“As old as he is, we always have faith in him and he has not disappointed us.”
“Apart from the fact that he has to train, he is a very disciplined human being. We are grateful to have somebody like him.”
“He is helping us, helping our young guys and the story continues.”
The result lifts Dreams to 6th on the league table.
