Kotoko coach Michael Osei is adamant his side is only focused on their matches in the Ghana Premier League amidst strong showing by their rivals in the title race.
The coach has come under criticism in the past week for being tactically inept but Osei is remaining calm urging fans to show the team more support
“The supporters should back us with prayers because all is not. If you look at where we were, the players have done very well.” Osei told Asempa Sports.
“With how things are going, I think that is how things are supposed to be but I know that we are part of the title contenders and I know we can win the league.”
“Going to play Ebusua Dwarfs at Cape Coast, we will go all out and play against them and we are hoping to get all the three points but I must say that Dauda Mohammed will miss that match but without him, I am hoping to get all the three points.
“We are left with 10 matches to go but for me, we are not disturbed about the performance of our title rivals especially Hearts of Oak. We only have to concentrate on our performance because this is a competition so we are not looking about the performance of others.”
Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey could play in the absence of Dauda Mohammed in his first action since his return to the club.
