Hearts of Oak saved the best for last as they picked an important three points againstChelsea ahead of their Super 2 clash against Kotoko.Almost forgotten striker, Kwame Kizito came off the bench to score the match winner with 12 minutes remaining. The Phobians had to dig deep to pick the points after Chelsea showed enough fit for the fight forcing keeper Soulama Abdoulaye into several saves. The result keeps Hearts at the summit of table five points ahead of eternal rivals Kotoko who dropped to fourth after suffering a humiliating defeat to Dwarfs in Cape Coast.

His third in the second round.

Wa All Stars continued their pursuit for the league title with a 2-0 win over Techiman City FC at the Wa Park. City defender Isaac Baah conceded an own-goal in the first-half before Paul Asare bagged the second goal late in the second half to clinch victory for the home side. All Stars took the lead at the death of the first-half when Techiman City gifted the hosts a goal as Isaac Baah turned the ball into his own net following a goal-mouth melee. All Stars finally cushioned the lead through Paul Asare who raced through the backline and brilliantly finished off an attack to cement the win for the home side.
