Dreams coach C.K Akonnor has attributed his side’s 2-0 win over Aduana down to discipline and hard work.
The Dawu side scored a goal in each half through Michael Sarpong to exact a bit of revenge of the Dormaa side who trounced them 4-0 in the first round.
And Akonnor who spoke at length prior to the game is full of praise for his players.
“Once again, a very good work and very discipline- the things we wanted to do we did it- we got our goals at the right time when we needed it most- I must say the boys were fantastic, wonderful and disciplined,” he told www.dreamsfc.com
“We wanted to win, that is what matters.”.
“We could win 1-0; 2-0, 3-0 or maybe 5-0 but we needed the 3 points and that’s what we got.”
“I’m very happy because it was a very good work from the defence, midfield and to attack- [Eric] Gawu as usual fantastic, Aaron [Amoah] was alive- that part of our game was good and I’m very happy.”
“I wouldn’t call it revenge, I am happy that we’ve won so it’s okay.” He ended.
Dreams have climbed up to 5th on the league standings.
