Young Africans coach Hans van der Pluijm is upbeat about his side’s chances ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup tie against Medeama.
The Dutch trainer is making a return to Ghana years after the leaving the country and believes his knowledge of the Ghanaian game could be the catalyst for his side’s first win of the campaign.
“We have prepared very well and we know how far this match can go but we will make sure that after full time we have really played out Medeama,” he told Asempa Sports.
“I know in football everything is possible because you can win, draw and lose but in general, Ghana Football in ahead of the Tanzanian league but the most important thing is that we have a very fantastic spirit in the team already and over the whole season we were champions and we won the FA Cup and if you are able to win the league title, you have really done well but internationally, it is no another level.”
“There are differences comparing individual qualities but the team work is very important so what I am praying and hoping for is that we get a good result that will help us win.
Young Africans lie 4th on the table with a single point.
