Ghana football coach, Avram Grant has urged players of the National U-17 male team to stay focus as they prepare for their African Youth championship qualifier with Burkina Faso.
The Black Starlets will host Burkina Faso next week Sunday at the Cape Coast stadium.
Grant who was at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence in Prampram with Ghana Football Association(GFA) boss Kwasi Nyantakyi to visit the team told them to keep their focus as they begin their journey to greatness.
“Many of the big players you see in Europe started from this country, so when I look at you I am asking myself which of these players can make it to the Black Stars and to Europe in five years time?” he said
“What I know is all of you have the talent but the talent is not enough but you need to have the passion for being a good footballer,".
“Passion leads to hard work and you need to be strong mentally,” he said.
