The Chief Executive Officer of King Faisal, Vincent Sowah Odotei has declared his support for local coach Hebert Addo to take over the Black Stars coaching job, which became vacant after the departure of Serbian Coach Milovan Rajevac.
Hebert Addo who is the only local coach among five coaches shortlisted for the job, has won the heart of Mr. Odotei and many Ghanaians after wining last season’s league with debutants Aduana Stars.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Sports Morning Show on Thursday, Mr. Odotei expressed his desire for Coach Hebert Addo to get the nod and believes he can do the job if given the opportunity.
“I don’t know the objective of the search committee but if we want somebody out of the five shortlisted coaches who knows the African terrain and can help the Black Stars win the Cup of Nations and rule the world in terms of football, then I strongly believe Hebert Addo stands tall among the rest,” he emphasised.
The five coaches shortlisted for the Stars’ coaching job are Goran Stevanovic, Humberto Cuelho, Can Vanli, Hebert Addo and Marcel Desaily
