Okwawu United will play Bechem United in the 2016 MTN FA Cup finals after defeating Liberty 3-1 on penalties.
The one time champion progressed to the final on penalties after both sides played out a stalemate in 2 hours of football
Liberty’s leading scorer, Latif Blessing, put the Premiership side ahead on the stroke of half time but McClean Ampadu restored parity for the Division One campaigners.
Liberty skipper Sam Sarfo missed the decisive penalty which confirmed Okwahu’s place in the final and a date against Bechem United in Cape Coast.
