A determined trader held on to her wares as if her life depended on it when members of angry AMA task force forcibly attempted to eject her at the Rawlings Park in the Central business District of Accra.
The incident took place on Saturday, July 30, 2016 while the AMA team popularly called ”Aabayee” confronted the market women.
The taskforce wanted to sack the traders from the area to ease movement but this turned into a brawl after the task force attempted to seize all items sold along the road.
In a video below, the woman tried to secure her goods from the team when she was pushed away.
Not wanting to let go of the clothes she was selling, she endured the beatings and insults hurled at her by the AMA task force.
The peeved task force workers demolished some wooden tables.
