The Police at Kasoa are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a taxi driver found dead in his vehicle on the Ofaakor/Bawjiase road on Tuesday with his throat slashed.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Alex Buabin, the Crime Officer in charge of the Kasoa Police, told the Ghana News Agency that the victim, Kojo Adu, was a mechanic apprentice at Kasoa and also a spare driver of the taxi.
On Monday evening Adu went for the taxi but did not return until the following morning when he was found murdered in his taxi with a deep cut in his throat.
He said the police are investigating.
