Kingmakers and elders of Anlo in the Keta municipality are expected to outdoor a new paramount chief for the town today.
The stool has been vacant since the death of the last Paramount Chief Togbui Ade-ladza thirteen years ago, because of a chieftaincy feud.
The enstoolment of Patrick Agbogba who will be outdoored as Awomefia under the stool name, Togbui Sri II, is expected to end the decade long dispute.
Volta regional correspondent Agbeko Ben Coffie reports that the Warlord of Anlo, Torgbui Agbesi Awusi II, will introduce the new Awomefia to people.
There are banners and posters of Torgbui Sri II across the 36 states of the Anlo Kingdon, says Agbeko Ben Coffie.
The Municipal Chief Executive of Keta, Sylvester Tornyeava, told Joy News adequate security has been put in place to deal with any outbreak of violence at today’s ceremony.
