Ghana Black Meteors conceded an extra-time goal to lose 2-1 to Nigeria and failed to progress to the final of the Wafu Nations Cup at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta.
The match ended 1-1 in regulation time as the Siasia’s troops nicked the winner in the 117th minute of extra time.
The Super Eagles could have sealed the game earlier in the first half of extra-time but wasted a spot-kick.
Nigeria will now play Togo in the final, who defeated Liberia in 4-2, in the first semi-final match.
