The Upper West regional youth wing of the NDC is calling for sanctions against members of a group calling itself, Will Of The Youth (WOTY) for flouting their party’s constitution.
WOTY, recently levelled a series of allegations including corruption and multiple sale of contracts to NPP stalwarts, against the Wa DCE and constituency executives of the party.
WOTY also accused them of working against the interest of the NDC youth in the area.
But the NDC Upper West regional youth organizer, Abubakar Rahman is not pleased and wants the group to be hauled before the disciplinary committee.
Responding to some of the allegations levelled against the NDC executives in the region, Mr Rahman said their checks revealed that none of the accusations is true and that “one would have expected that for such an easily verifiable allegation, the so-called WOTY would have presented the examples to buttress their point.”
He therefore urged the constituency executives to refer the matter to the disciplinary committee so that those that are found culpable are made to face the regulations of the party.
