The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has confirmed that a dispute over how delegates at the NDC congress would vote has been resolved.
The Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings' camp had kicked against regional voting saying it amounted to intimidation.
However, the commission at a meeting with representatives of the contesting camps agreed to rather pair the regions.
Public Relations Officer at the EC Christian Owusu-Parry told Joy News both teams are satisfied with the arrangements and that all is set for the polls on Saturday.
He said the party has “indicated that they want the Commission to print the ballot papers for the party and so the commission will start the process [on Tuesday] and we are sure by the close of work [on Wednesday] we would have printed all the ballot papers that will be needed for the congress.”
The NDC Congress is slated for the 8th -10th of July.
