Christian Atsu and NewCastle have won the English Championship title.
The Magpies were crowned winners on Sunday after Brighton & Hove Albion spurn a third opportunity to win the title after being held to a draw at Aston Villa.
Newcastle defeated Barnsley to pip the Seagulls by just one point on the final day of the regular season.
The Ghana star was heavily involved as he lasted the entire duration at St James Park as Newcastle comfortably saw off Barnsley 3-0 with goals from Ayoze Perez, Chancel Mbemba and Dwight Gayle.
Atsu has been immense playing a key part of Newcastle United title success and Premier League promotion. He bagged five goals including one against Preston North End which qualified Newcastle to the premiership.
He is on loan from Chelsea and the 25-year-old is expected to remain with the club on a permanent basis.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to sell the winger in the summer.
