Asante Kotoko confirms the recruitment of striker, Richard Arthur and defender, Augustine Sefa in a bid to fortify the team ahead of the second round of the 2016/17 Premier League. The two players were at the club’s secretariat in Kumasi on Monday morning with their managers to append their signatures to contract documents.
They would head straight to training at Adako Jachie when the team regroups under the technical direction of newly appointed Head Coach, Steven Polack. While Richard Arthur is joining the Porcupines from defending league champions Wa All Stars, Augustine Sefa – a right back and a former Ashgold player until his signing was unattached.

Both Arthur and Sefa will be around up to the end of the season, Operations Manager, Ernest Owusu Ansah told Asantekotokosc.com. The latest recruitments are part of Management’s resolve to duly address problems that have seen the team under-performing in the last eight matches of the league.
With Coach Steven Polack almost settling to start actual work this week, a lot is expected to change in the second half of the season even if it would take time. The English coach has asked for patience from both Management and supporters of the club since the enormity of his task demands nothing but time and unflinching support from all who have the club at heart.
