The Peoples National Convention (PNC) has thanked the President, Nana Akufo-Addo, for appointing their 2016 flagbearer Edward Mahama as an Ambassador-At-Large.
The party while delivering a solidarity message at the NPP delegates conference asked the President to throw in a few more jobs for its leaders.
"It shouldn't end there," the National Vice Chairman of the party, Henry Asante begged the President adding "we have a lot of people in our mist".
The PNC has become peripheral after it was booted out of Parliament in the 2016 general elections. None of its parliamentary candidates won a seat in the 2016 parliamentary elections.
But the party's five-time contestant for the presidency, 72-year old Edward Mahama, was given an appointment by the current government, a move seen as promoting all-inclusiveness.

Dr. Edward Mahama
A dissenting voice to the appointment and party General Secretary, Atik Mohammed, was silenced with an indefinite suspension at the PNC leadership meeting to discuss the Dr Mahama's appointment.
The PNC and National Democratic Party (NDP) are the only parties to have their functionaries appointed under the Akufo-Addo led-government.
NDP's Communications Director, Ernest Owusu Bempah and a close ally of the NPP has been appointed the Director of Communication at Ghana Gas company.
The PNC National Youth Organiser Abu Ramadan was also appointed Deputy Director-General of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in March after displaying open allegiance to the NPP.
Mr Asante wants government to throw more jobs for PNC leaders.
