The Convention Peoples’ Party (CPP) is embarking on an aggressive campaign to encourage more youth to join the party.
The campaign will take party officials to the country’s tertiary institutions to shore up its membership.
Acting National Youth Organizer of the party, Kadri Rauf Issifu, told JOYNEWS he was hopeful this initiative will help restore hope in the CPP - especially among young people in the country.
He explained the CPP was taking this course because the party wanted to engage with people who understand its visions.
Since the youth constitute a major part of the voting population in the country, he said, the party was hoping to reach out to more youth to support its programmes.
