The Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday announced it has suspended the admission of new patients to the Surgical; Medical and Emergency Units of the Hospital until Sunday, January 21, 2007.
A release signed by Mr Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, said the suspension had become necessary as the Units were full beyond capacity.
It said the action would allow the Hospital to decongest the Units and advised the public, who required emergency medical services to call at other health facilities.Source GNA
