Ex-Black Stars captain Ck Akkunor has indicated that, the final 23 man squad announced by Coach Goran Stevanovic is the best to win the African cup of Nations title.
Strikers Derek Asamoah who plays in Korea and local hero Emmanuel Baffour are the two players who were dropped from the provisional squad made public on Wednesday.
Ck Akkunor told Joy Sports, Ghana have a great team to conquer Africa in the cup of nations which is scheduled to come off later this month in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
“I think we should be positive with the squad and give them the needed support to bring the cup back home”. Said Akkunor
“I was skeptic about the squad that went to Angola but they proved me wrong so I believe this time we have a good team to win the title”.
