The U-17 National team, Black Starlets on Saturday thronged the Ulsan
Sports Complex and offered prayers asking for God's intervention in their crucial encounter against Colombia on Sunday.Coach Sellas Tetteh led the players to the stadium and they stood round the centre circle and held each others' hands and sung praises to God to help them record a win on Sunday.Their visit to the stadium was to enable the players to get a feeling of the environment and also to give them the confidence to win over their opponents to ensure them a complete qualification into the round of 16.Coincidentally, Ulsan Sports Complex is the same venue where Ghana's neighbouring Togo was thrashed 2-1 by host Korea to see them packing home. This, some of the players believe, "Can not happen to Ghana" and that they would leave no stone unturned to ensure total victory on Sunday to make Ghana proud. The team needed a win to ensure qualification to the next round since a draw may or may not qualify them.Source: GNA
