The leadership of the ruling National Democratic Congress is resolute that fall-outs from yesterday’s primaries will not create cracks in the party.Some notable incumbent Members of Parliament (MPs) lost their bid to contest on the parties ticket in the December elections.The casualties include: MP for Lower Manya Krobo, Michael Teye Nyaunu; North Tongu, Charles Hodogbe who lost to Deputy Information Minister, Samuel Okudzeto-Ablakwa and MP for Keta, Larsey Agbenyefia who lost to Propaganda Secretary, Richard Quashigah.Also on the list of losers are Deputy Majority Chief Whip, George Kuntu Blankson and Minister of State in the Office of the President, Stephen Amanor Quao.The party’s General Secretary Johnson Aseidu Nketia told Joy News they are unaware of any intentioned by losers in the elections to breakaway.He said as far as the party was concerned, all losing candidates have committed their full support for losing candidates.Mr Aseidu Nketia also assured that constituencies that are yet to choose their candidates because of legal tussles will hold their primaries by next week.
