Calm has returned the Asesewa Government Hospital after angry mob besieged the hospital Sunday afternoon threatening to visit mayhem on nurses whom they blamed for death of a patient at the hospital.
A resident electrocuted had been rushed to the hospital but he died on arrival.
The angry residents however, accused the nurses of negligence resulting in the death of the patient.
An eyewitness told Joy News the lives of the nurses will be in danger if the police do not intervene.
He said the nurses had locked themselves up in the hospital.
According to the eyewitness, the angry residents numbered about a 100.
But the situation is calm now.
