Management of Accra Hearts of Oak are set to cut down the number of its players.
The Phobians currently have over 30 players on its pay roll and according to the CEO of the club, Mr. Fred Crenstil, they intend pruning the players down to 25 at the end of the 2011/2012 league season.
“This exercise is aimed at making management able to pay players well and make them feel better in terms of winning bonuses and salaries”, he told Asempa Sports.
According to the CEO, the technical team has also raised concerns about the number of players with the team and he believes it is a step in the right direction.
He also revealed that the club's new signings will officially be outdoored with their jersey numbers soon.
