Professor Dominic Fobih, Minister of Education, Science and Sports has urged the Black Starlets to keep the momentum ahead of their crucial knockout meeting on Wednesday against Brazil at the FIFA U17 World Cup Championship in South Korea.
He said that, "I learnt with joy your success over Colombia last Sunday and urge you to keep the momentum in the game against Brazil on Wednesday.
"I have no doubt in your abilities and will like you to draw inspiration from the stiff competition your senior counterparts, the Black Stars offered the Brazilians when they met at the same stage in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany last summer so as to record a convincing victory tomorrow."
Professor Fobih tasked the team to go into the 'must-win' game with the desire to fight with the national spirit to ensure they end up victors.
"We are solidly behind you and wish you will go into the game believing that with determination you can make it".
Bookmakers believe whoever wins the game could go ahead to win the ultimate.
The last time the two sides met was in New Zealand in the 1999 edition at the semis when the South Americans advanced to the finals at the expense of Ghana via the lottery of penalties, however this time round the Starlets are determined to make it to advance to the next stage of the competition.
