Black Stars Coach Goran Stevanovic left for Serbia on Sunday night after the team returned home from Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.The Black Stars arrived on Sunday afternoon without striker Asamoah Gyan who was whisked away by his United Arab Emirates Club side Al Ain in a private jet after a disappointing Africa Cup of Nations campaign.Goran Stevanovic will return to Accra on Monday February 20 ahead of a meeting with executives of the Football Association on his future on Wednesday February 22.In an interview with JOY Sports, Stevanovic explained his desire to stay despite calls for him to resign after failing to win the trophy.“I feel good here and will love to continue with my job because I think we can build a stronger team in the future”. Said Stevanovic“We need to analyze what went wrong at the tournament and build upon it for the future”.The under fire Serbian trainer is expected to arrive in the country on February 20 to meet the football association on his future as the coach of the Black Stars.The Football Association will hold a press conference on February 22 to announce their decision on whether the coach is staying or not.
