Berekum Chelsea’s experienced talisman, Charles Asampong Taylor says he still believes he has a role in the senior national team.Charles Taylor had always been the toast of followers of the Ghana Premier League until injuries that have dotted his career sidelined him for the greater part of his career in recent times.Fortunately for him, he was offered a new lease of life at Berekum Chelsea but injuries recur in his play.He has resumed training thankfully.Speaking on Multi TV’s Agokansie, Taylor said he was happy to be back and was hoping to get a call up from the team’s coach to start playing regular football for Berekum Chelsea.Charles “the Terror” as he is affectionately called for his dazzling skills and the torment he puts defenders through also indicated his readiness to lace his Black Stars boot.He explained that but for injury he would have been part of the team that competed in the AFCON 2012, saying he can never say no to the Black Stars if he rediscovers his form and is invited>.
