Hearts of Oak Coach Nebojsa Vucicevic has condemned the actions of some fans of the club who stopped him from supervising a training session last week in protest of recent poor results in the second round of the GLO premier league.
Hearts of Oak fans have not been happy with the team’s four points from a possible 9 in the opening three matches of the second round after buying 12 new players believed to have the quality to compete for the league title and the Phobians now trail rivals and leaders Asante Kotoko by seven points.
The Serbian in an interview with JOY Sports stated that, the attitude of the fans is unacceptable and finds difficult to understand.
“The supporters have forgotten that we were struggling some time back and that I came in to overturn things”. Said Vucicevic
“I understand the supporters but that is not the way to go about issues because I am also not happy with how things are going for us”
Nebojsa Vucicevic supervised his team’s final training yesterday at the ATTC Park ahead of Sunday’s match day 19 meeting with Tema Youth in Accra, hoping to return to winning ways
