The Football Association’s decision on the future of Goran Stevanovic as coach of the Black Stars is set to be delayed for few more days due to the Serbian’s inability to travel to Ghana for final talks on Tuesday as planned.
The Football Association was due to meet Goran for the last time today before announcing a final decision on his future but the 45 year old could not travel to Accra from Belgrade as scheduled because he has to work on a new passport.
Stevanovic’s passport is reported to be full and was not allowed to travel from his home country to Accra at the weekend.
The former Partisan Belgrade Coach will now be expected to complete the new passport arrangement and fly to Accra for a meeting on Thursday or Friday, March 15 or 16.
The meeting is expected to discuss new conditions of work following a review of the coaches’ performance the last 12 months by the Football Association.
