The arrival Goran Stevanovic for a crunch meeting with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Tuesday over his future as Black Stars coach has been delayed because of passport problems.
Stevanovic was scheduled to meet the GFA executives on Tuesday before a final decision is taken whether to retain or fire him as the Black Stars coach.
But his inability to depart from Belgrade meant the meeting with the GFA had to be rescheduled.
According to GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, Tuesday’s meeting was being put off after Stevanovic encountered passport documentation issues at his base in Serbia prior to his departure.
“Stevanovic wrote to inform us about problems with his passport and that he will be issued a new one,” the GFA President said on Tuesday.
“We are expecting him later on Thursday and we will take it from there.”
