Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is disappointed about the exit of coach Goran Stevanovic but says he is not concerned about who takes charge of the team.
The Ghana Federation parted ways with the Serbian trainer on Monday following his failure to win the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 45-year-old guided the Black Stars to a fourth place finish despite expressing his desire to win trophies with the West African giant when he took over the job in January 2011.
Badu - who enjoyed an incredible run under the former Partizan Belgrade boss - is not bothered about who succeeds the European tactician.
“I am sad with his exit but as a player my job is to play my best no matter who is appointed as the coach of the team,” Badu said.
“We now have to focus on the assignments ahead and that for me is more important at the moment.
“The authorities have decided what they think is best for the team and honestly I don’t care who is given the job.
“He’s done his part and we must move on,” Badu stated.
