FIFA: Launches Football for Hope Project in Cape Coast

The World Football governing body as part of their football academy initiative to help needy boys and girls through football and education will be launching the project in the central Region, Cape Coast on Saturday. The concept was mooted by Fifa boss Sepp Blatter to aid developing countries following the successful hosting of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. As part of the new initiative, the GFA boss will visit the region every month and he will address the press in that region on the burning issues affecting Ghana football. The new initiative will allow the Football Association ensure that it keeps abreast with football development in all parts the country while engaging stakeholders in the various regions. Media consultant Kurt Okraku "This project will discover more talents to feed our various national teams in the near future, with a typical example being Black Princesses striker Florence Dadson" he told JOY Sports As part of the launch the Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi will hold his monthly press conference.
