Ashanti Gold recorded their sixth straight win in six matches after beating Heart of Lions 2-0 in Kpando with top scorer contender Yakubu Mohammed scoring one of the goals to maintain the team’s 100 percent record in the second round of the Glo premier league.Ashanti Gold which struggled to in the bottom five in the first round of the league are surprise league title contenders as they trail Kotoko by 10 points with nine matches to end the season.Kotoko beat Dwarfs 2-0 at the Len clay stadium in Obuasi to stay top of the table with goals from Kofi Nti Boakye and Ben Acheampong.
