Hearts of Oak assistant coach Tanko Shaibu Ibrahim has parted company with the club.The technical trainer assisted departed Serbian coach Nebojsa Vucicevic till his departure last month.
The 20-time league champions trained at the ATTC Park on Tuesday without the assistant coach who is believed to have left the club upon the acceptance of his resignation by the club’s management.
Hearts would be out on the market to shop for an assistant for head trainer CK Akonnor after former winger of the club Yaw Preko turned down an offer to take the deputy role.
Tanko Ibrahim Shaibu is touted as having great coaching qualities and his departure is bad for the club according to goalkeeper’s trainer Abukari Damba.
“Hearts of Oak has lost an asset looking at his professional values and what he could have added to the technical bench of the club. I believe that his contribution to Hearts of Oak ever since he was taken on board has been very good and everybody can testify to that.
Coach Tanko Ibrahim Shaibu joined the former Africa champions two seasons ago after undergoing training at the Winneba Sports College and furthering in Germany
