Ghana's two time Paralympic athlete Raphael Botsyo Nkegbe has promised the entire nation of a third appearance at the London 2012 Paralympic games after failing to make a qualification mark in the 6th International Para Athletics Competition, in Tunis, Tunisia.
The long distance athlete failed to impress in a similar competition in the All Africa Games in Maputo.But his other colleagues hauled medals for the country last year September.
Botsyo who failed alongside his colleague Patrick Obeng but won medals but his two female colleagues Ajara Mohammed and Anita Fordjour both qualified for the Olympic competition
"I will qualify by all means because i now have a British coach courtesy my sponsors Right To Dream and moreover there are many competitions coming up in the month of May and by the close of May you will interview me on my qualification" he told JOY Sports.
The confident Botsyo Nkegbe believes his qualification will see Ghana making history by winning their first medal in the competition in London in August.
