FBNBank Ghana has rewarded twenty lucky customers at the 3rd mini and Grand Draw event of its ‘Save and Win’ promotion, bringing the total number of winners for the entire promotion to 40 customers.
Speaking at the draw, attended by senior officials of the bank, customers and well-wishers, the Managing Director of FBNBank Ghana, Mr. Gbenga Odeyemi said the savings promotion was aimed at encouraging Ghanaians to cultivate the habit of saving, and also show gratitude to its esteemed customers for their continued business over the years.
He said the FBNBank Ghana brand is committed to expanding its frontiers in innovative banking to meet the financial needs of as many customers as possible.
“At FBNBank Ghana, we strive to put our customers first. This has made us a brand of strength and dynamism, that has for the past 124 years, striven to provide the best financial solutions to our customers”, adding that, “As a bank that offers our customers the golden standard, we have outlined a number of tailored products and services which will be rolled out this year to provide affordable and inclusive banking to all our existing and prospective customers.”
According to Mr. Odeyemi, every Ghanaian of bankable age should embrace the habit of saving because of the myriad of opportunities that comes with savings. He said, for instance, savings helps provide strong financial security for one’s future aspirations and invariably contributes immensely to the socio-economic development of the country.
The promotion’s Grand Draw winners won prizes such as digital TVs, an Apple Ipad, a Top-Down refrigerator, a washing machine, laptop, gas cooker, table top fridge and a 32” LED TV. Ten of the lucky customers, who were drawn from the 3rd mini draw, also took home smart mobile phones, phone accessories, GH₵100 worth of airtime, and music beatboxes.
Sackey Lawrencia Aba (Tema Branch), the grand prize winner, took home a 65-inch curved digital television, Emelia Osaadu, the second prize winner got a 55-inch digital television and Sey Simon Dela, had a 42 -inch digital television set for winning the third prize.
Showing appreciation for their clients’ support, Mr. Odeyemi stated “I especially want to thank all our loyal customers who kept faith with us and participated in the promotion as well as the draws. I can assure you that FBNBank Ghana will continue to providing value, meaning and opportunities for you, our esteemed customer”.
He also lauded the National Lottery Authority (NLA) for assisting the bank in making sure the promotion was done in a fair and transparent manner.
About the Promo
To be entered into the FBNBank Save and Win promo, customers made a deposit of GH₵200.00 (and/or multiples of it) into an existing or new individual savings/current accounts. Each GH₵200.00 deposit earned a customer 1 point.
Meanwhile, all customers who at the start of the promo had a minimum balance of GH₵1,000.00 in their accounts obtained one point for every GH₵1000.00 as “advance points” up to a maximum of 10 points.
Advance points were earned only on an incremental basis for as long as customers deposit remained in the account during the period of the promotion.
To participate in the monthly draws or the Grand Draw, customers needed to maintain a minimum of GH₵1,000.00 in their Individual current/savings accounts.
