Former Vice President of the GFA,Fred Pappoe says the FA should keep
calm heads in order to secure the sponsorship deal from GNPC.The proposed deal between the FA and the GNPC has dominated the
airwaves with the issue being which agency brokered the deal. But the former FA Vice says the association should rather be concerned
with securing the deal than trying to find fault.Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show on Asempa Fm on Monday,he stated
that the sponsorship will come in handy so all hands should be on deck
in order to strike the deal."Let's keep our cool and secure the GNPC deal", he cautioned. The former Black Stars Management Committee Chairman also touched on
the gambling act at the camp of the Black Stars during the AFCON 2012.According to him,the gambling act first came to their notice at the
end of the 2010 World Cup.He said the issue came on board during a de briefing after the World
Cup and they resolved that perpetrators of the act in the future will
be expelled from the team.Fred Pappoe currently is a senior member of the GFA Executive
Committee and also the Management Committee Chairman of the CHAN Team.
