The Coach of Nkunzimbini Junior Secondary from South Africa Justice Ndumisa Nqiwa doubts if Ghana’s representatives SOS of Tamale have presented the right ages at the ongoing Milo Under-13 African Football tournament in Ghana.
SOS tamale thrashed the South Africans 5-0 in their opening group match and went ahead to demolish William Barner school from Sierra Leone also 5-0.
Coach Justice Ndumiso Nquiwa in an interview with JOY Sports stated that, he suspects SOS Tamale is using over aged players.
“My assessment is that the Ghana players are bigger boys and I doubt if they are Under 13”.
“All the boys are born in 2000 and how can the whole team be holding the same age. I think they are old”.
The tournament continues today at the El-Wak Sports stadium with Ghana playing St Anthony’s Boys from Sierra Leone in the first semi-final.
