Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale is confident of victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinal between the two sides at Wembley on Sunday.
The Welshman believes the north London outfit is a better team and has taken confidence from the recent meeting between the two sides at Stamford Bridge which finished goalless.
"Chelsea are a great side and have done really well in the Champions League. It won't be easy," Bale told Spurs official website. "But if we are on our game on the day, then we can reach the final because I feel we have the better team.
"We played very well at Stamford Bridge recently, it ended goalless but we had the better chances on the day and we probably should have won the game. That will give us plenty of confidence going into this match."
Spurs' league form has been inconsistent recently but Bale is determined to turn their fortunes around and make up for defeat at the same stage of the FA Cup three years ago, to a Portsmouth side managed by current Spurs boss, Harry Redknapp.
"We let ourselves down against Portsmouth two years ago, we didn't play well and that was a tough defeat to take," he continued. "We've got another chance to reach the FA Cup final and we're determined not to let it slip by this time."
