Central Regional Minister, Ama Benyiwa Doe has asked Ghanaians to give President Mills another four year term to continue the enormous development projects being executed under his leadership across the country.
She argues it is only fair President Mills is given another term as was given to former Presidents Kufour and Jerry John Rawlings who had eight years each to rule the nation.
She therefore called on the electorates to vote massively for President Mills in the upcoming elections in order to enable him fulfill his better Ghana Agenda.
The Minister was speaking during the confirmation of the new Municipal Chief Executive for Agona West, Samuel Oppong at Agona Swedru in the Central Region.
The confirmation of the MCE brings to three the number of MCEs in the area within the three and a half years of the NDC government.
Madam Benyiwa Doe called on NDC members in general and the Assembly members in particular to give the newly elected MCE the needed support in his bid to develop the area to complement the president’s better Ghana agenda.
She mentioned a number of development projects on going in the municipality and indicated that the four-year term of the NDC government is not ended yet and urged the public not to forget that the NDC is still in its first term.
Ama Benyiwa Doe however underscored the need for all to cooperate with the government and give the President the needed support.
The newly elected MCE, Samuel Oppong, called for cooperation from all in the Assembly for good results from his outfit.
