Premier League Board member, Kofi Manu aka Blue Boy says the Appeals Committee decision that Bechem United lost against Wassaman United should not stand due to some technical reasons.
Kofi Manu who represented Wassaman in the said case said Article 41 of the FA Statutes states clearly that 5 members should sit on the appeal cases but instead 6 members sat on the said case which technically cannot stand.
He also added that Article 41.2 (clause 2) states that only the General Secretary of the GFA should be the secretary to the committee but in the said case, Kwame Opare who sat as secretary to the committee was not a general secretary of the association and therefore not qualified to sit in the committee.
Mr Manu said the decision should be set aside for the right thing to be done.
