An Apostle with the Church of Pentecost, Mike Kwame Etrue, has said the value of Christ's death can best be communicated through lifestyle changes and not theology.
"The truth is that, it takes our lifestyle or public life to give meaning to others about the Jesus we have encountered" he preached to youths at the Pentecost International Worship Center at Kaneshie in Accra.

The Kaneshie Area head who supervises 89 churches (assemblies, worship centers) said the message of God's reconciliation with man can be communicated in three ways.
In his Easter Convention message Thursday, Apostle Mike Etrue mentioned the sharing of the gospel either verbally or virtually and the financing of the gospel.
But the third, he stressed, is for Christians to 'let their light shine before men' as Jesus Christ exhorted his followers.
Ghana is a deeply religious country but corruption is a deeply embedded culture in public life.
The Church of Pentecost believing that the Christian faith is being corrupted has been urging its membership to go back to the "basic message" of Christ, the church's 2018 annual theme.

Drawing inspiration from the 2018 theme, the largest Pentecostal church in Ghana marked the 2018 Easter celebrations on the sub-theme "Christ died for all"
"You have to spread the gospel", the Apostle charged a packed auditorium and explained, every Christian has at least one basic calling in life which is that "through us, the world will come to know this Jesus who died for all".
He said the great challenge facing Christians in their effort to live a holy life and evangelise is that many are yet to come to terms with the reality of their redemption.

Christians, he said "are so much burdened by what Satan can do to us not what God has done for us"
Apostle Mike Etrue said the remedy for this siutation is a revelation of the Christian's identity. This is accomplished through the Holy Spirit who brings into the life of the believer, the reality of his redemption, he said.
"With Him the eyes of our understanding are enlightened to know the hope of our calling as Christians", the Kaneshie Area Head said.
Key Texts: 1 Cor 15:3-5
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve
2 Cor 5:17-19
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
