Information reaching Joy News indicates the police officer at the centre of the cocaine-turned-bicarbonate soda saga, DSP Gifty Mawuenyega Tehoda, is expected to face a service enquiry today, Friday.
The enquiry is part of the administration’s own effort to uncover the truth behind the missing cocaine.
DSP Tehoda is expected to explain her side of the story.
Meanwhile, a circuit court on Thursday said it will be compelled to throw out the case against her if prosecutors fail to proceed with the trial in the next adjournment date, June 28.
DSP Tehoda’s lawyer E.K Vordoagu, says the posture of the prosecutor is weighing on the minds of her client.
