A student of Simon Page Business School has been awarded the overall top student award at the recently held eighth graduation ceremony and dinner hosted by the Ghana branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).Twenty four others from Simon Page Business School also graduated from different levels of the CIM.The graduation ceremony which was under the theme: “Seize the opportunities that lie before you” brought together luminaries in marketing profession.The Guest Speaker, Mr Chris Diaz, encouraged the graduands to take advantage of every opportunity that presented itself and warned them against actions that will put the marketing profession into disrepute.He also shared his experiences with the graduates and encouraged them to persevere at all times.Among the graduands awarded on the night were Jocelene Buckman and Rosemary Mensah all of Simon Page Business School.Victor Nii Tettey Mac-Carthy was adjudged the overall top student.
The General Manager of Simon Page, Solomon Twum was full of praise for his students for their excellent performance.“Simon Page is committed to supporting students develop their professional careers, attain the very highest under the qualification and we are very happy about the achievements of our students. We are very proud of them” he said.The ceremony saw a total of 150 students graduate to different levels of the qualification, the ultimate being the Chartered Marketer status.
