A commercial court in Accra has adjourned again, civil suit by the state to retrieve 51 million cedis it says it paid mistakenly to businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome.
State prosecutors on Tuesday requested for three more days because Chief State Attorney on the case Madam Cynthia Afriyie Ankrah is indisposed.
Two weeks ago she requested for a week sick leave.
Lawyers for Mr. Woyome pleaded with the trial judge to adjourn hearing on the case indefinitely but the Judge, Justice Barbara Ackah-Yensu refused the request.
She however expressed displeasure at the absence of State prosecutors stating that the case has delayed unnecessarily.
The case will be heard next on the 10th of July.
