Government is rallying Ghanaians to work towards a Ghana beyond aid - an economic policy mantra.

And one area that Ghana would not need aid is keeping the environment clean. But this straight-forward goal is one which the country is still far from scoring.

Progress is usually short-lived and sporadic. Garbage remains Ghana's biggest baggage and until it can move beyond filth, there is little doubt that it can move beyond anything negative.
