Joy FM has commissioned the 1st Read 100 library at Asofan in the Greater Accra Region.
The project was funded by the Vodafone Foundation.
The commissioning took place on Wednesday June 27th at 8am in the presence of the beneficiary schools, traditional authorities, sponsors and the local community.
The 50 seater Library would subsequently be handed over to the READ 100 Foundation which is a not-for-profit organization established to absorb and continue the work of the Read 100 Project.
The project began in 2010 as Multimedia’s contribution towards helping instil reading habits in children.
